About Me

I am an Italian-born academic, teacher, and private mentor based in the United Kingdom, with over a decade of experience in quantitative education and research. My work sits at the intersection of mathematics, statistics and economic theory.

I enjoy teaching and I am a Study Skills tutor for the University of Bristol with a dedicated portfolio to developing pedagogical research.

Academic Background

My academic journey began in Bologna, where I graduated twice with the highest possible distinction. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance and a Laurea Magistrale in Economics from the University of Bologna, both awarded 110/110 cum Laude. I then moved to the United Kingdom to pursue graduate study at the University of Warwick, earning a Master's in Mathematics for Real-World Systems with Distinction, followed by a PhD in Mathematics. My doctoral thesis — Optimal Policy for Large Herding Population, supervised by Professor Matthew S. Turner — sits at the intersection of evolutionary game theory, optimal control, and applied mathematics.

I am currently completing my HEA Fellowship in Higher Education.

In the rest of my life, I am a photographer and I love playing the piano. I have a gentle soul that loves numbers — or rather, greek letters :)
